It’s a rainy week ahead and warm comfort food really sounds good for the week. So, I’ll fill this week’s menu with dishes that will warm your heart and soul, while still feeding those cravings with meals that we all enjoy.
On Monday, it’s a great night for Seafood Pot Pies. Rich buttery crust flecked with hunks of creamy seafood instead — a pure delight. Tuesday is usually taco time, but I’m making Carnitas Tostadas because they have similar flavors, and are deliciously easy. On Wednesday, let’s spice things up with Harissa Chicken with Fingerlings and Shiitakes. Thursday evening it’s one of my favorite recipes of all time — Salmon with Miso and Mushrooms. Friday night and it’s time to serve up Queso Macaroni and Cheese for a meal with a tiny bit of kick and luscious creamy taste. Saturday’s are for baking and it’s February, time for my Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies. They will surely be a winner for Valentine’s Day, or any day this month. Have a tasty week ahead and stay dry.
