Happy Sunday! Have you heard? It’s supposed to get into the 70’s by next weekend in Southern California! I never thought I would be saying a thing like that, but yes it’s been a cold winter here. That being said, it’s a time to really start celebrating this new season, and I have some recipes for you.
Starting with Monday — Tangy Roasted Mushrooms that I borrowed from Alison Roman. She’s a great chef and cookbook author and you should check out her books. Tuesday is taco time and these Grill Pan Swordfish Tacos are an easy fix on a taco craving. On Wednesday, we are enjoying a little beef with this Herby Butter Steak and Mushroom Skillet. It’s a little early to start grilling for some, so using an iron pan will create a wonderful sear and great flavor. Thursday night — a good soup would certainly hit the spot and my Asparagus and Leek Soup is not only delightful, but full of springtime vegetables. Good Friday is a night to reflex, gather and enjoy some Dilly Deviled Eggs. This Saturday is about preparing for Easter Sunday with my French Toast Cream Cheese Casserole and some Candied Bacon recipes. It’s a two-fer kind of day. Have a wonderful week and celebrate the warmer days.
