A Week At A Time – Meal Ideas!

Here comes the rain — another storm is headed our way with several more inches predicted, so more cozy recipes are coming.  I think soup sounds like a good thing, so it’s soup week, all week long!

On Monday, it’s Clam Chowder or Clam Chowdah, however you prefer to say it.  I love a big bowl of creamy chowder with fresh clams flecked throughout for a delightful seafood meal.  Tuesday’s are usually taco nights, but I said it’s soup week, and my Smoky Pork Pozole is the perfect substitute.  It has all the Mexican flavors we know and love, but it’s brothy and spectacular to eat.  Wednesday is Italian Lentil Soup with just the right flavorings like sausage and butternut squash, to bring you back to that cafe Italy.  On Thursday, it’s my Tomato Beef and Greens Soup with hardy flavors that will surely satisfy the hungriest of eaters.  Friday’s are usually cocktail night, but I’m going with soup — Carrot Coconut Curry.  It’s luscious and delicious with slight Indian flavors.  Saturday’s are for baking and I thought a good bread would round out the week, so my No-Yeast Flatbread is more like pizza, and much easier to prepare.  You can top it with whatever you choose to make it your own special pie.  Have a good week, stay dry!
