I’m feelin’ hot hot hot and this Creamy Pesto Dip is the best way to cool down, while satisfying those cravings for something delicious.
Sometimes the most simple ingredients create the best recipes. Pesto, a nutty-herb based sauce that you can toss with pasta, spread on top of chicken or fish, or in this case, fold into a dip, is easy to make right at home, or buy in any grocery store. Folding pesto into a mixture of sour cream, mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese is basically all that is needed to create this creamy dip. It’s loaded with zesty flavor and fun to dip into with salty potato chips. It’s great to serve for parties, or to enjoy while binge watching your favorite show. It makes a great quick appetizer that’s easy to pull together in a pinch.
Ingredients
1/3 cup pesto sauce, homemade or store-bought
1/3 cup light sour cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
pinch of salt & pepper
Chips
(Serves 4)
To Prepare:
- Add all ingredients to a bowl, stir until creamy smooth.
- Pour into serving bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
