If there’s one thing that most of us have on Valentine’s Day, it’s chocolate. Whether you have a significant someone or are swinging single, chocolate treats are a super way to celebrate this day. I tend to love white chocolate, which I know there is great debate as to whether it’s really chocolate or not, but all of them, including deep dark and milk chocolate cakes, cookies, or scrumptious desserts make Valentine’s that more special.
I just love a soft crumb layer cake that’s filled with whipped cream and doused in thick fudgy frosting, or a simpler chocolate and berry snack cake that’s easy to make, and lightly dusted in powdered sugar. For those of you sensitive to gluten, my flourless chocolate heart cake will certainly bring a smile to someone’s face, and don’t forget about these white chocolate peanut butter dipped strawberries. Juicy berries dipped in a white chocolate peanut butter glaze that are truly unique, and great with a glass of champagne. There’s always cookies for Valentine’s Day and these double chocolate brownie cookies with a soft center and chewy crust will make the whole family get into a loving mood. Have a terrific day and say, “yes” to something chocolate.
