A Week At A Time – Meal Ideas!

It’s heating up here in Los Angeles, and whether you are experiencing unseasonably warm weather or not, this week’s meal ideas are bound to get you excited about cooking.  Simple recipes that are fast and easy are the perfect mealtime solution, especially when it’s hot outside.  I even threw in a few grilling recipes that will get you prepped and ready for the months ahead, and might even inspire a little grill cleaning, if necessary.  Fresh and lighter fare is what we all need right now, but that doesn’t mean we skimp on taste.  Spring ingredients are bountiful and shouldn’t be overlooked, so let’s do a deep dive into some garden vegetables, and utilize what’s in our backyards, farmer’s markets and local grocery stores.

There’s something so satisfying about spring.  It’s a new beginning, in more than one way, especially during a pandemic.  I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy, and focusing on the things that bring you joy.  I know for me it’s my family and friends, and I am looking forward to catching up with so many people in the months ahead.  Cheers.
