Happy hot Sunday! This week has been over-the-top warm in most parts of the world and if you’re planning on taking a trip to Europe — I hope they have air conditioning where you’re staying. I think most of us have vowed not to turn on the oven, even for baking, but that’s not going to slow down the delicious meals this week.
On Monday, let’s get our grill rolling with Grilled Broccoli Florets with Miso Butter. It makes a great side dish with chicken or fish, and you don’t even need to turn on the stove top. Tuesday it’s pasta time, and this Creamy Pesto Crab Pappardelle with Burrata is so darn good and it’s crab season, so find some that’s super fresh. On Hump Day, we’re headed back outside for cooking with these Grilled Ribeye Steaks with Flowering Herbs. The hardy beef with delicate blooming herbs is simple, yet tasty. Thursday is a great night to eat outdoors, or at a park or concert venue, and this Bocconcini, Watermelon, Strawberry Picnic Salad is the perfect meal under the stars. It includes an easy hack for preparation too. On Friday, it’s Niçoise Salad Lettuce Cups with Caper Vinaigrette. Absolutely no-cooking required and nowadays you can find some of the most delicious tinned fish to enjoy for this recipe. Saturday’s are usually for baking, however it’s hot — so it’s this delightful No-Bake Strawberry Angel Food Trifle. You can buy the angel food cake at the grocery store, and layer it up in no time. Have a delicious week.
