Happy Sunday! I hope you are enjoying the weekend. It’s been a busy week for me with a event at a local winery yesterday, where I made my Vineyard Girl Bakes Cookies plus a big batch of chili, which I’ll be sharing the recipe with you this week. Also, my homemade focaccia has been a big hit with wine club visitors, so if you haven’t made it yet — Sunday’s are the perfect day.
On Monday, we’re enjoying Portobello Mushroom Rigatoni for Two — a vegetarian treat for a couple. Tuesday is taco night and Rostisserie Chicken Tacos are a simple prep and super delicious. Herby Roasted Swordfish with Fennel, White Beans and Olives sounds fancy for a Wednesday, but it’s not — just delicious and roasted in one pan. Thursday is the good evening for Pasta Puttanesca with Salami. It’s a one-bowl meal that’s loaded with Italian pantry flavors, things you probably have on hand. On Friday night — it’s time for a cocktail – Blood Orange Margaritas. Saturday’s are for baking this Pistachio Pound Cake. It’s a simple dessert that can be sliced and served for dessert with berries and whipped cream or enjoyed as a snack in the afternoon. Have a tasty week.
