Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  Whether you’re Irish or not, celebrating this green-filled day can be so much fun.  It always starts with a drink and whether it be a classic Guinness, a shot of Irish Whiskey like Jameson’s, or a festive cocktail – this day is about celebrating.  Negroni’s are a classic Italian beverage and traditionally are a mixture of gin, Campari and sweet vermouth, but today we’re are changing things up and using Irish Whiskey instead of gin to create the most fabulous drink.

To make this cocktail – it’s equal parts of all three things, Irish whiskey, Campari and sweet vermouth.  If you haven’t discovered Carpano Antica quite yet, it’s time to get on board because it’s the best tasting sweet vermouth on the planet, and well worth the splurge.  So, Slainte to all the Irish Americans and faux Irish party-goers who just love this big day.
