Frozen treats and drinks are truly a thing of the summer and with watermelon so readily available right now, I thought a good watermelon cocktail would be nice on a warm summer night. My frozen watermelon strawberry margaritas will not only cool you down, but pleasantly moderate your mood into a weekend state of mind. Blending cold watermelon cubes with fresh strawberries and a little maple syrup is pretty much all this frothy drink requires before it hits your glass in all its glory.
I recommend cubing your watermelon and storing it in an airtight container for a few hours before the mixing begins. You can always do this step a day or two before, that way you’re ready when friends arrive to blend a batch of these scrumptious drinks. There’s nothing like a frozen cocktail during the summer months made with seasonal fruit. Cheers!
