Classic cocktails are not a thing of the past – they are very much present, and whether you prefer them shaken or stirred, and in this case definitely muddled – that’s the key to an Old Fashioned. There are many ways to approach making an Old Fashioned, but one thing is definite – bourbon. Choosing a bourbon you enjoy drinking and can hold up to the citrus, cherry and bitters is something you need to consider.
Whether you want a splash of soda or poured over a large cube of ice, or both – the choice is yours when it comes to an Old Fashioned. The process is simple, the flavors so warming while refreshing, and the satisfaction remains – that’s an Old Fashioned.
