Food Processor Honey Peach Sherbet – Recipe!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Warmer weather dictates homemade ice cream and my Food Processor Honey Peach Sherbet is so creamy and cool you’ll love each and every bite.

A food processor is your best friend when you want to make a quick and easy peach sherbet.  A bag of frozen peaches, some half & half and a drizzle of honey quickly become a frozen treat worth an indulgence. The flavors are sweet and fruity and it’s whirled up quickly with just a handful of ingredients.

I love the idea of having a homemade option when it comes to frozen desserts.  Sherbet is something we used to eat quite often as kids from our local drug store, and now it’s my new favorite treat to make right at home, especially during the hot summer months.

To Prepare:

  1. In a food processor, add peaches and half & half.  Puree for 2 minutes to break down peaches.
  2. Add 1/3 cup honey and 1/2 cup water and continue to puree until smooth.  Add more water if necessary to become smooth.
  3. Spoon into a loaf pan and drizzle top with remaining honey.  Freeze in freezer for 1 1/2 hours before scooping into bowls, or eat soft serve.  Enjoy!
