Summer is still quite warm and what better way to start the day than with a refreshing smoothie. I love the flavors of mango and coconut because it brings me back to my favorite vacation spot. The creamy smooth texture will delight your palate and the preparation is a snap.
My Tropical Protein Smoothie will make mornings your favorite part of the day and start you off in the right direction. However, if you are looking for a tropical cocktail in the evening, you can always add a splash of vodka or rum for some adult fun.
Ingredients
1 cup frozen or fresh mango chunks
1/2 cup mango nectar
2 tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes
1 scoop protein powder, any variety
1 cup ice, double if using fresh mango
1 cup water
(Makes 1 Smoothie)
To Prepare:
1. Measure out all your ingredients.
2. Pour everything into a blender and puree until smooth. Could this be any easier?
3. Pour into your favorite glass or mason jar. Don’t forget the straw! Enjoy!
