Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • pinch of allspice
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water

(Makes about 1 Pint)

To Prepare:

  1. Add all ingredients, except cornstarch and water to a sauce pan and place over medium heat.
  2. Cook for 4 minutes, while continuously stirring until simmering.
  3. In a measuring cup, whisk together cornstarch and water into a slurring.
  4. Slowly pour cornstarch mixture into saucepan and continue to stir to slightly thicken.
  5. Pour glaze into a large jar to store or bowl, if using right away to glaze pork before, during, and after cooking.  Enjoy!
