Red, Yukon, Russet or Sweet – potatoes varieties are vast and while many of us are planning our Thanksgiving menu, I thought I would offer a few Potato Recipes that would brighten up your holiday meal.
Potatoes can be roasted, boiled, or baked, then smashed, riced, or split before butter, cheese, sour cream, or herbs are added. There are so many options with potatoes — I think of them as an empty canvas just waiting for some flair. While the turkey seems to be the star of the show, it’s the side dishes like potatoes that really make for a wonderful meal.
