Learn how to make an Easy Prawn Masala bursting with authentic Indian flavors, perfect for a quick and delicious meal during the week.
This Easy Prawn Masala uses prawns or jumbo shrimp as I tend to call them, can be a quick-fix meal, especially if using a frozen variety. Warming Indian spices like cumin seeds, coriander and turmeric blend with ginger and garlic to create an authentic taste. Garam Masala is another spice blend that enhances the sauce and creates a beautiful combination of flavors.
Tomatoes and whole milk yogurt help enhance the sauce and turn it into an aromatic bath that frozen shrimp hydrate and soak up the luscious tastes. This Easy Prawn Masala is made in minutes because shrimp cook so quickly — making it the perfect weeknight meal.
I love to serve this Easy Prawn Masala over hot steamed rice and top it with fresh mint for an aroma that’s irresistible and total perfection. I serve it straight from the skillet for a quick and easy clean-up too.
