Blackberry Ginger Gin and Tonics Recipe

Refresh your cocktail game with a bold Blackberry Ginger Gin and Tonic – it’s fruity, slightly spicy, and the perfect drink for any occasion.

A delicious cocktail like this Blackberry Ginger Gin & Tonic is a simple creation that when the weather begins to heat up, tastes so good as the sun begins to set.  The balance of flavors is gorgeous on the palate and sets the mood for the season ahead.

Blackberries are beginning to show their faces at farmstands and markets around town and there are nothing like juicy berries in a cocktail. I love luscious blackberries in almost anything and creating a simple syrup with blackberries with a knob of ginger for subtle spice begins this delicious cocktail game. The syrup is boiled down, strained, and chilled before it’s time to create these beautiful Blackberry Ginger Gin and Tonics.

Lots of ice in the glasses is the first step to a any good Gin and Tonic and of course a quality Gin.  A big squeeze of lime juice over the gin and ice adds balance to the sweet berry syrup and floral gin.  Top it all off with tasty tonic and give it a stir and you are ready to cheer to Friday night.
