A Week At A Time – Meal Ideas!

We’re heading into the final week before Christmas and soon my family will be coming to town along with Santa.  I’ve decided on a few things — pizza night on Friday, seafood stew on Saturday for Christmas Eve, and beef for Sunday Christmas dinner.  I think I’ve chosen a variety of festive options so everyone will be pleased and can help out in the kitchen.

This week’s meals are casual tasty fare that doesn’t require a lot of time, starting with a Slow-Cooker Chicken and Andouille Sausage Stew on Monday.  It’s simple ingredients cooked low and slow until the chicken almost falls off the bone.  Tuesday is Rotisserie Chicken Tacos – super easy, deliciously fun.  Wednesday night is Caramelized Onions and Peppers Macaroni & Cheese because it’s warm and cozy food fit for the holidays.  On Thursday it’s Crispy Deviled Chicken & Potatoes – a delicious dish you can share with arriving guests.  Friday night is a good time to make up a batch of my Deviled Eggs with Goat Cheese & Bacon to serve with cocktails.  Saturday is Christmas Eve and it’s definitely time to get your bake on and this Pear and Cranberry Clafouti will be perfect after dinner with family and friends.  Happy Holidays!
