Happy fall Sunday everyone. It’s going to be a bit warmer this week, which makes me believe that some of us might be thinking of ways to keep our kitchen cooler. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t use fall fresh produce or ingredients that bring you into the season.
On Monday, it’s really warming up here and I thought an electric pressure cooker recipe might be a good choice, and my Instant Pot Creamy Ricotta Corn and Shrimp Pasta will work magic whatever the forecast predicts where you live. Tuesday means Chipotle Beef Tacos with Avocado Sauce — a deliciously easy way to enjoy taco night. Seasoned Skillet Pork Chops with Butternut Squash on Wednesday taste like fall has definitely arrived. A one-skillet meal that’s easy to put together and lends itself to the season is a beautiful thing. Thursday is chili night and my White Bean Rosemary Turkey Chili will really hit the spot. You can enjoy it from a big bowl, bread bowl, or over a hot dog of choice. Friday means you made it through the week and requires a treat like a Maple Bourbon Smash. Fresh juice with a splash of bourbon and a hint of maple syrup makes this cocktail a real fall favorite. Saturday’s are for baking these Individual Brown Butter Apple Crisps – petite in size, but not on flavor. Enjoy your week.
